A single mother of two, Diane graduated from North Shore Community College in 1984. She hones her own editing, writing and interviewing skills throughout the year by participating in Soleil Lifestory Network seminars and programs. Kathy helps you capture the essence of your personal or family experience to inform and inspire yourself and generations to come. She presents Turning Memories into Memoirs and Photoscribe workshops in a variety of formats. Supporting the full range of lifewriting needs, she offers private consultation, coaching, editing and lifestory interviewing services as well.

Through lifestory interviewing, she captures the depth and meaning of life stories that might otherwise be lost. These interviews can be the basis for a celebration booklet that marks a milestone or a full biography. Whatever the project, care is taken to preserve the client's unique perspective and experiences.

Kathy encourages others to discover and explore the power of writing at many levels. She works with high school students to help them master mechanics and find their writing voice. As an adjunct faculty member at North Shore Community College, she offers a range of writing courses. She holds a B.A. in English and Business from the University of New Hampshire and has broad experience in the writing and consulting fields.

Jan McLean is a Certified Lifewriting Teacher, having completed the Soleil Lifestory Training Institute Teacher Certification program in April, 2001.

She is a Professional Certified Coach, a retired teacher, a certified teleclass leader, and a relationship communication consultant.

Jan completed an advanced Turning Memories into Memoirs® retreat in May, 2002, in Wells, ME. She is an active memoirist and has participated in a weekly writing group since August, 2000.

Audrey O'Neal is a writer who holds an MFA in creative writing (fiction and poetry) from Sarah Lawrence College whose work has been published in various journals and anthologies, including Poetry Nation and An Anthology of of the Best North American Fusion Poetry (Vehicule Press, 1998).

She is an experienced high school teacher who dedicated nine years to students in the New York City public school system and a university teacher (developmental reading at York College). She also was also a staff developer through City University of New York's Literacy Enhancement project. Audrey offers editorial consultation to those who wish to develop their manuscripts or who seek feedback, is a dynamic public speaker and enjoys working with both young people and elders.

She provides book production services for memoirs and other books in many formats.

Roger Walsh is a master teacher with degrees in Psychology, Biology and Education. A former public and private school teacher, he has taught at local colleges for many years.
President of the St. David's Society for Preservation of Welsh Culture and Language in Rochester, Roger writes and publishes in Welsh as well as English.

A "chronic iller" himself, he is dedicated to encouraging others to find and use their voices through writing lifestories.

Renee has a Master's Degree in education and has taught creative writing to children and adults for 15 years. She facilitates story circles for women who are writing their lifestories and publishes her own stories in Story Circle Journal.

She is presently working on her memoir as well as personal essays and articles on lifewriting. She is developing a writing workshop for teenage and pre-teen girls to get them started on the lifewriting journey.

Bill provides Turning Memories® lifewriting workshops as well as coaching, co-authoring and editing services. He holds an M.A. from the University of Pittsburgh in Creative Writing and has taught for many years at the college level.

"Lifewriting matters because people's lives matter," he says. "I am convinced that every person I know would treasure a memoir collection written down by the older members of their family who have so much life experience and wisdom to share. I also believe that with gentle, competent coaching, any person can write such a collection and whose gift will be remembered for generations."

Bill has written numerous memoirs and histories himself, including an extensive parish history and a profile of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in McKeesport, PA. His short fiction has won significant prizes and publication in such periodicals as Redbook Magazine.
