I would definitely recommend Denis Ledoux and the Soleil Affiliate Memoir Professional program and its certification. Since I come from the publishing end of memoir work, having the Soleil teaching materials was very welcome and the certification was most helpful to credentialize my branching out into lifewriting. The Soleil classes and manuals are excellent and Denis is himself very knowledgeable and effective as a teacher. The training has definitely helped me build a profitable lifewriting business.

Denis Ledoux's teacher's certification program is an excellent, comprehensive training focused on how to start and operate a memoir business successfully. (By successful, I mean both that people love you for your work and you earn a decent income!)
As a Personal Historian, I believe there is much more to the teaching and the business end of memoir work that requires not only serious consideration and idealism of intent but some sort of consistency of approach and training to make your work permanent and profitable.
Denis has been teaching lifewriting for more than 25 years, and there is nothing he doesn't know about both the creative as well as the business side of memoir work.
