The Revise & Polish Tele-class emphasizes writing with the "big idea" in mind--shaping and pacing the sequence of stories, paying special attention to choice of narrator and point of view, keeping story time consistent, minimizing author intrusions. In addition, we review such fundamental story elements as voice, tone, symbolism, and imagery. Other literary techniques are discussed as they come up in the context of our bi-weekly Turning Memories¨ group editing and discussion process. Expect to write a lot during our 7 months together!
