Two Lifewriting Tele-Classes
--one at your writing level!

EACH TELE-SEMINAR INCLUDES--

  • 15 90-minute tele-conference sessions over 7 months
  • e-mail handouts, exercises and instructor support between sessions
  • telephone check-ins with instructor between sessions

  • Writing a memoir is a challenging proposition! It is not an easy task and it can take years longer than you thought to complete. Is it any wonder that so many would-be memoirists quit before they reach their goal?!

That's the bad news. Now for the good!

The good news is--it's been done before by many people just like you--people who have implemented the practices and habits you will learn in these tele-classes. (A failproof/foolproof technique you will be held accountable to is showing up regularly at your writing desk during our seven months together--a seemingly simple but challenging commitment you'll find support for in our class.)

If you had started using the practices and principles of the First Draft Tele-class seven months ago, you would now be holding in your hands a draft of your long-anticipated memoir! Or, if you already have a draft and had started its revision and polish seven months ago, you would have a book ready for its public.

If you commit to one or both of these tele-classes, you will produce more than you now think possible. Sooner than you may think, following these sequential tele-classes, your story will be finished, ready, if you choose, to share with family, friends and possibly a wider audience.

Over the years, I have helped many people to realize their dream of writing a memoir that is then published in any variety of formats, a written legacy for the next generation. I can help you do this, too.

Seven months into the future--or fourteen if you take both tele-classes-- may seem like a long time--but remember seven (or fourteen) months in the past? Just yesterday, wasn't it? Yet, you didn't write your memoirs during that time as you might have.

Now think of the same period in the future. Will you still be without a completed memoir then, too?

    The choice is yours.

Why not call me today to inquire about which of these tele-classes can be your ticket to make a dream come true? I look forward to speaking with you.

      -- These Tele-Classes will --

    • structure seven months of writing for you using techniques that work,
    • offer a meaningful sounding board as you write,
    • provide a support group of thoughtful, perceptive, and articulate peers who will cheer you on as you cheer for them as well.

    • -- How Does it Work? --

    • Tele-class general info.

    • Format: Each session will begin with a 'lesson' and be followed by a discussion. Lastly, the group provides a critique of one to three story segments.

On this form, you will record your achievements and your struggles of the previous two weeks. This report will be e-mailed as an attachment to each member of the tele-class 24 hours prior to the session.

    • Peer Support & Response: Each participant's writing will be supportively critiqued. In addition, participants are encouraged to work one-on-one with at least one other writer in the group via e-mail.
