    FAQ: Is this program right for you?

    Q. I've already taken the BDS-Intro. How will this be different?
    Denis: In the BDS-Intro, you learned many of the basic skills a businessperson needs to succeed. In this tele-class, you will do the long-term work of implementing and adapting those ideas and practices to your unique business. A successful business is continually adapting. Last year's solutions are often irrelevant to this year's problems. So it's devloping the practice and keeping flexible that makes a difference, not just re-implementing solutions that have worked in the past.

    Q. I haven't taken your BDS-TC. How can I fit in?
    Denis: If you have a written a business plan you may be ready for this course. I'll want to see it before you enroll to ascertain that you are at the same level as other participants. Some of what we cover will, inevitably, be basic for some and newly appreciated by others. It is my practice to adapt these classes to the needs of individual participants and to the challenges each unique group presents. There is no "one size fits all" here.

    Q. I don't teach workshops. Will this tele-class be useful to me as a writing services provider?
    Denis: This tele-class is not specific for workshop teachers. Business plans must be developed and shaped and the group's critique will help you improve its implementation regardless of your medium. This course is effective for all creatives who seek to apply business techniques to their practices--videographers, editors, co-authors or workshop leaders alike will find a combination of clear insight, practical systems, and unsinting encouragement no matter what category your product and services line falls in.

    Q. Won't this class take time away from working on my business?
    Denis: Inevitably, yes. This tele-class requires time that will not then be available to your day-to-day business. You'll work on your business not in your business for that time. BUT you will learn to work smarter and not harder. You'll develop systems and practices that will provide your business a solid and lasting foundation for success. You'll find that subsequent time in the company will become more productive and lucrative as a result.
