I actually pulled out the Cameo Narrative worksheet on the plane on the return trip-- my daughter was a captive audience to help me! We went over every day, every adventure, using the sheet to jot down details. We filled in the blanks with all the little bits and pieces that are the deeper level of the who-what-where-when and recorded all the sense details like the smells and textures of the things we saw and visited. When the photos came back just a few days later, I was amazed at how much I had already forgotten. Thanks to the Cameo Narrative process, I had saved those details.
